A Month of Worship

Sunday worship and Young Church are at 10 AM. Child care is available in our Parish Hall. Please join us for Social Hour after our service. Our Sanctuary and Parish Hall are handicap accessible.

May 1 - Vespers

 

May 4th - "Thresholds" Rev. Roberta will be joined by Membership Task Force Co-Chair Kimberly Cloutier Green. Together they will offer a service of reflections and meditations on what it means to come into our community of faith. Whether you have been her for 20 years or 2 weeks, you will find yourself in this shared spiritual journey. Former Music Director, Rev. Mary Edes will provide the music, and we will celebrate our commitment to shared ministry with the Installation of our newest Associates.

May 8 - Vespers 

 

May 11 – "Messengers of Fellowship and Love" An intergenerational celebration of the Flower Communion led by Rev. Roberta and Worship Associate Jo Maden. In honor of Mother's Day, we will have a Child Dedication Ritual, and will share the bounty of our gardens. Rev. Norbert Capek, originator of the Flower Communion ritual, thought of the flowers as messengers of fellowship and of love. Bring flowers to share - one for each person in your family or group plus one extra for visitors and guests. The choir will sing.

May 15 - Vespers

 

May 18 – "The Sacred Circle" Rev. Roberta continues the sermon series on the sources of our faith as expressed in the UUA Statement of Principles and Purposes. This service, planned in collaboration with the Earth Based Spirituality Group, looks at the source most recently added to the statement: Spiritual teachings of Earth-centered traditions which celebrate the sacred circle of life and instruct us to live in harmony with the rhythms of nature. Barbara London, guest pianist and flute.

June 1 - "Unity and Diversity" Join the Senior Youth on June 1 at 10 am for their always inspiring annual worship service. Here's how they describe it: If you are in church every Sunday, you probably don’t know much about the Senior Youth Group—make sure you don’t miss this service about the balance between unity and diversity, planned by the youth group. Look forward to an entertaining service with appearances by many talented Senior Youth musicians.
