Covenant Group Ministry begins its 8th year at South Church in September of 2010.  In Covenant Groups we share laughter and tears. We expand our vision and deepen our faith as we explore our spiritual journey together in a safe and supportive environment.  We respect the beliefs, feelings, and points of view of all members. We exercise non-judgment of all comments made in the group.  Covenant group participants, called covenanters, reflect the diversity of our congregation including both new and long-time members and friends, young and old, men and women, with a wide range of beliefs, backgrounds, and experiences. 

At South Church we register in September for Covenant Groups for the coming year.  Folks sign up for a particular time slot.  In 2010-2011 we are offering 8 different groups.  Groups meet two times a month for 2 hours and group size is between 6 - 10 people.   Click on the following page, Covenant Group Ministry Registration, to register after September 19, 2010.
 

Covenant Group Ministry Committee

Our committee meets monthly to achieve the mission of Covenant Groups at South Church. We oversee the scheduling of groups, provide training, communicate with the groups through the conveners, work with the minister in providing topics, and conduct a yearly evaluation of the program.
