South Church thrives because members and friends of all ages participate in congregational life. Members and friends give of their time, talents and financial resources. We participate in the congregation’s rich array of programming which takes place on Sundays and throughout the week.
Our Adult Spiritual Enrichment program offers a number of opportunities for learning and growth. These include Sunday morning forums on special topics, classes, spiritual affinity groups, small group ministry offerings, and support circles of various kinds. These programs are almost always offered to members and friends at no cost.
Our Music Program offers many ways to share your talents and your love of music through the South Church Choir, our South Church Folk group, periodic coffee houses, sound system support, and opportunities to sing or play instruments in worship.
For those that wish to make a difference in the larger community and the wider world, we offer many opportunities for Community Engagement and Social Justice action.
Our congregation thrives because of the skill and commitment of a host of volunteers. Volunteers serve in a wide variety of roles, from ushering on Sunday mornings or helping in our religious education program, to organizing social justice events or serving on our Board of Trustees.
In addition to all these opportunities at South Church, members and friends may take advantage of what’s offered at the district and national level. There are many ways to learn, serve and grow with Unitarian Universalists from across the region and the world.
For Children And Youth
Our programs for children and youth provide the youngest members of our congregation with a solid spiritual and ethical foundation that will serve them throughout their lives. Offerings include Sunday morning classes, youth groups, social justice projects, special events and more.
