The SPARKS 5th and 6th grade youth group met on Friday night for their
monthly social.  The youth  learned three chants from mentors, Cathy and
Peter Okhuysen.  The youth also created prayer flags representing things
they are grateful for including family, the earth, their homes and food and
peace.  On Sunday, the Youth participated in the unison chalice lighting and
reflections for all ages.  The SPARKS lined up in their tie-dyed t-shirts
lead the congregation in a gratitude chant with Cathy and Peter Okhuysen.
The Chant Coci Rivaya means my cup overflows.  The youth also presented the
congregation with their prayer flag so that their prayers of gratitude would
be shared with all.
