Thursday Shower Program

Every Thursday, South Church opens the doors to members of the community who need access to a shower. We have two recently renovated private bathrooms, one of which is handicapped accessible, and guests may use them for up to 30 minutes on a first-come, first serve basis. All toiletries and towels are provided- from basics like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, to more personal items like toothbrushes, deodorant, and feminie hygiene products. 

We also try to have new undergarments, socks, rain ponchos, blankets, and such things available for folks who need them. 

The showers are currently open every Thursday from 9am-noon. No appointments required, just come to the red door on the side of our building and ring the bell and a volunteer will help you with the process. 

The South Church Shower Program is also always looking for volunteers to help staff the program, as well as donations to continue to allow us to offer these services to the community.
